A Senior Athlete Portrait Session

Senior year is a big milestone for student athletes, and capturing that moment is especially meaningful for players who have spent years dedicated to their sport. This recent senior session with a baseball player from Mira Costa High School celebrated both his final season and the work that brought him here.

We started the session with classic athlete portraits featuring his baseball gear; bat, glove, and uniform before transitioning into more relaxed senior portraits that reflect life in the South Bay. Combining sports portraits with lifestyle senior photos gives athletes a gallery that feels personal and well-rounded.

Athlete senior sessions often include a mix of:

  • Portraits in uniform
  • Photos with sports equipment
  • Casual senior portraits in everyday clothing
  • A few action-inspired poses that highlight the sport

For baseball players especially, incorporating their glove, bat, or cap helps tell the story of the years they’ve spent on the field.

Senior portraits for student athletes are about more than just photos. They capture a chapter that represents dedication, teamwork, and countless hours of practice. Whether seniors plan to continue playing in college or simply want to remember their high school career, these sessions document an important moment in time.
