Home & Beach; Family Photography in Manhattan Beach

Starting your beach session at home is always a great idea, especially if you have kids. It gives them a chance to warm up to your photographer because they’re comfortable in their surroundings, also providing gates and walls so they’re safe while capturing photos of you as a couple.

During this family lifestyle session we started at their home but finished at the beach which offered plenty of space for the kids to be kids. Many parents worry their children will not cooperate for an hour and they won’t! They won’t sit still and pose for the camera for a whole hour but they will play and interact with their parents for an hour. Great photo opportunities are found in ordinary moments and make for an overall fun experience. The best photos are the ones with beautiful memories behind them!
